Show me the REX is a portal for sharing and showcasing lessons learned (REX) from Tech, data and AI projects, making it easier to share experience between peers, to highlight the solutions of market players and to generate business opportunities around content such as testimonials, success stories and case studies.

We invite you to read this document carefully (hereinafter the "Terms of Use" or "ToU"). For any question regarding this document and, more generally, about the services published by the company operating the Show me the REX brand (hereinafter "We" or "Show me the REX"), you can contact us via the contact section of our website.

1. Purpose and scope

The purpose of these ToU is to define the rules applicable to accessing and using the services offered through the Show me the REX portal and its subdomains (hereinafter the "Site"), including in particular access to a database of lessons learned, editorial content and community features.

These ToU constitute a contract between:

  • persons who browse the Site without having created an account (hereinafter the "Visitors");
  • persons who have created a personal space (hereinafter the "Member Area") and entered their information (hereinafter the "Members"),

hereinafter referred to together as the "Users" or "You", and Show me the REX, each party being referred to individually as the "Party" and together as the "Parties".

Access to the Site and use of the Services are conditional upon Users accepting and complying with these ToU.

The ToU do not apply to:

  • services offered directly by third-party companies (solution vendors, partners, external platforms) accessible via the Site;
  • commercial contracts entered into by Show me the REX's professional clients (subscriptions, paid options, editorial or video agency services, etc.), which are governed by the specific contractual terms applicable to them.

We reserve the right to amend these ToU at any time. You are invited to review them regularly. In the event of a substantial change, information may be displayed on the Site and/or in your Member Area and, where applicable, renewed acceptance may be required in order to continue using the Services.

2. Services offered via the Site

2.1 Services accessible without a Member Area

As a Visitor, you can, without creating a Member Area:

  • Search, explore and consult lessons learned (REX) from Tech, data and AI projects (client cases, testimonials, success stories, case studies, etc.) published on the Site.
  • Consult the presentation pages of organisations (companies, vendors, consulting firms, integrators, etc.) showcasing their projects and solutions.
  • Browse editorial content (articles, interviews, features, resources) relating to lessons learned, innovation, data, AI and associated technologies.
  • Discover the subscription or promotion offers proposed by Show me the REX to market players.
  • Register for events, webinars, REX-sharing sessions or ask to be contacted by the Show me the REX teams.

Show me the REX may change, supplement or remove certain Services accessible without an account, at any time, without any particular prior notice.

2.2 Services accessible via a Member Area

Creating a Member Area gives access to enhanced features, in particular:

  • Create, complete and update your profile (professional or corporate) to facilitate connections around REX and projects.
  • Save certain REX as favourites, comment on them, rate them or react according to the available features.
  • Publish or co-publish project REX, case studies or testimonials, within the limits set out in these ToU.
  • Follow organisations, topics, technologies or contributors in order to receive notifications about new content or activities.
  • Where applicable, access additional options (community-animation features, enhanced visibility, private spaces, etc.), in accordance with the terms defined in the Show me the REX offers.

The Services are free for individual Users, subject to changes in the pricing policy. Certain services intended for organisations (promotion, subscription offers, content production, etc.) are paid and subject to specific contractual terms.

3. Creating and using the Member Area

3.1 Account creation and credentials

To create a Member Area, the User can register via a dedicated form, entering in particular first name, last name, professional or personal email address, and choosing a password.

The User undertakes to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information, and to update it in the event of any change.

The password must be sufficiently robust and must remain strictly personal and confidential. The User is solely responsible for any use of their Member Area, whether or not they are the origin of it.

The User undertakes to:

  • not allow any third party to use their Member Area in their place;
  • take all necessary measures to preserve the confidentiality of their credentials;
  • inform Show me the REX without delay in the event of loss, theft or unauthorised use of their credentials, via the contact methods provided.

Show me the REX cannot be held liable for the consequences of a late notification or the absence of notification in the event that credentials are compromised.

3.2 Profile settings and preferences

Once the Member Area has been created, the User can:

  • complete their profile (for example: role, company, sector, areas of interest, technologies, etc.);
  • where applicable, fill in an organisation profile (company or partner page) if this feature is open;
  • manage their communication preferences (notifications, newsletters, topic alerts) in their preference centre.

The User remains free to modify or delete the non-mandatory information of their profile at any time via their Member Area.

3.3 Notifications and communications

By creating a Member Area, the User agrees that Show me the REX may send them:

  • notifications relating to their account and their use of the Services;
  • information related to the REX followed, and to the organisations or topics followed;
  • communications relating to the features of the Site, to changes in the offering, or to events organised by Show me the REX or its partners, in compliance with the applicable regulations.

The User can, at any time, adjust their preferences (subscriptions, frequency, channels) or unsubscribe from certain communications, via the settings of their Member Area or the links included in the emails.

3.4 Deletion of the Member Area

The User can delete their Member Area at any time from their settings area or by making a request to Show me the REX, under the conditions set out in the Privacy Policy and the applicable regulations.

Deletion of the Member Area does not necessarily entail the immediate deletion of all published content (in particular public REX, comments or contributions), subject to the rights recognised by law (for example: the right to erasure under certain conditions).

4. Conditions for using the Site and the Services

When using the Site and the Services, the User is solely responsible for the information, content and data that they consult, share, transmit or publish.

Users undertake in particular to:

  • use the Site and the Services in accordance with their intended purpose (sharing REX, consulting content, professional exchanges) and not to disrupt their proper functioning;
  • comply with the laws and regulations in force as well as the rights of third parties (intellectual property rights, image rights, protection of personal data, trade secrets, etc.);
  • not develop, support or use software, scripts, robots, or any other process aimed at carrying out mass scraping, unauthorised data collection, or circumventing the Site's security mechanisms;
  • not attempt to obtain the source code of the Site or of any associated technology by means of reverse engineering, decompilation or other prohibited processes;
  • not reproduce or simulate the appearance or operation of the Site through framing, mirroring or other techniques.

In the context of their contributions (REX, comments, content), Users undertake to:

  • share accurate, sincere and fair information, while respecting the confidentiality obligations that may bind them to their employer, clients or partners;
  • not publish unlawful content or content contrary to public decency: defamatory, insulting, discriminatory, hateful, violent or pornographic remarks or content, or content that undermines human dignity;
  • not publish content likely to harm the reputation of a person or an organisation without a reasonable and verifiable factual basis;
  • not send unsolicited mass promotional messages (spam) and not use the Site as a primary channel for aggressive commercial prospecting.

The User undertakes not to disclose, via the Site, personal information of third parties (texts, photos, videos, contact details, etc.) without authorisation to do so.

In the event of a breach of any of these obligations, Show me the REX reserves the right to suspend, limit or delete the User's access to the Site and the Services, temporarily or permanently, depending on the seriousness of the facts, under the conditions set out in Article 9 below.

5. Reporting content

Any User may report to Show me the REX any content they consider to be contrary to these ToU, to the law or to the rights of third parties (for example: defamatory remarks, infringement of intellectual property rights, invasion of privacy). Reporting is done via the contact form or the reporting mechanism provided on the Site, describing precisely:

  • the content concerned and its location on the Site;
  • the reasons for the report (nature of the infringement, rights invoked);
  • where applicable, the steps already taken with the author of the content.

Show me the REX undertakes to examine reports within a reasonable time and to take the appropriate measures, ranging from a simple warning to the removal of the disputed content, or even the suspension of the author's account in the event of a serious or repeated breach.

6. Show me the REX's liability and warranties

6.1 Accessibility of the Site and the Services

It is up to the User to ensure that they have the technical and software means to access the Site and use the Services (equipment, internet connection, compatible browser, etc.).

Show me the REX may at any time limit or suspend access to all or part of the Services in order to carry out maintenance, update or security operations, without such unavailability giving rise to any right to compensation.

Show me the REX does not guarantee:

  • that the Site and the Services will be free of errors, interruptions or anomalies;
  • that the content and information accessible via the Site are exhaustive, accurate or up to date;
  • that the Services will perfectly meet your expectations or specific constraints (technical, regulatory, business).

6.2 Use of the Services and content

Use of the Site and the Services is under the sole responsibility of the User. Show me the REX cannot be held liable for:

  • direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the Site or the Services;
  • decisions taken or not taken by the User on the basis of content, REX, testimonials or information published on the Site (including in the context of Tech, data or AI projects);
  • content published by third parties (Users, partners, organisations), for which they remain solely responsible.

The hypertext links present on the Site may redirect to third-party sites. Show me the REX is not responsible for the content, services or policies of these sites and does not guarantee their compliance with the applicable regulations.

Show me the REX cannot be held liable for elements beyond its control (network failures, failures of access providers, security incidents related to the User's technical environment, etc.).

7. Intellectual property and integrity

7.1 Show me the REX's intellectual property

The Site and all its elements (structure, design, interfaces, databases, texts, digital content, trademarks, logos, graphic elements, videos, visuals, SEO HTML tags, etc.), with the exception of content belonging to third parties, are the exclusive property of Show me the REX or its partners and are protected by intellectual property law.

The User is authorised to display the pages of the Site on their screen for strictly personal and temporary use, in accordance with the purpose of the Services. Any reproduction, representation, distribution or exploitation of all or part of the Site, on any medium whatsoever and for purposes other than individual consultation, is prohibited without the prior written authorisation of Show me the REX and/or, where applicable, the relevant rights holders.

The User undertakes in particular not to:

  • extract, by temporary or permanent transfer, all or a substantial part of the content of the Site or of the databases accessible via the Site, for commercial or other purposes;
  • reuse, by making it available to the public, all or a substantial part of the content of the Site;
  • exploit or distribute any element making up the Site and the Services without authorisation.

7.2 Users' intellectual property

Users may integrate and distribute content via the Site (lessons learned, texts, images, logos, videos, documents, etc., hereinafter the "User Content"). The User remains the holder of the intellectual property rights in the User Content they publish, subject to the rights of any third parties concerned.

However, by publishing User Content on the Site, the User grants Show me the REX, on a non-exclusive basis, a free, worldwide licence for the duration of the use of the Services, allowing it to:

  • reproduce, represent, adapt, translate and communicate the User Content to the public, by any means and on any medium, in the context of the operation of the Site and the promotion of the Services;
  • grant, where applicable, sub-licences to Show me the REX's partners for the purposes of distributing the User Content, strictly within the framework of the Services.

The User declares that they hold all the rights and authorisations necessary to publish the User Content and grant the licence above, and indemnifies Show me the REX against any third-party claim in this respect.

8. Personal data

Show me the REX attaches great importance to protecting Users' personal data and respecting their privacy. The processing of the personal data collected as part of the Services is carried out in accordance with the applicable regulations, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and amended French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978.

The terms and purposes of the data processing, as well as the rights available to Users (right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, right to portability, etc.), are detailed in the Show me the REX Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these ToU.

9. Term, suspension and termination

These ToU apply from their acceptance by the User and for the entire duration of use of the Site and the Services, until the deletion of the Member Area and/or the cessation of use of the Site.

In the event of a breach of these ToU by a User, Show me the REX may:

  • send a warning to the User;
  • temporarily limit or suspend access to all or part of the Services;
  • terminate the User's access and delete their Member Area, without prejudice to any damages that Show me the REX may claim in compensation for the harm suffered.

Where possible, Show me the REX will inform the User of the measure envisaged and may ask them to put an end to the breach within a reasonable time. In the event of a serious or repeated breach, suspension or termination may take place without notice.

Termination of these ToU, for any reason whatsoever, does not entail a waiver of the clauses which, by their nature or purpose, are intended to survive (in particular: intellectual property, liability, personal data, miscellaneous provisions, applicable law and competent jurisdiction).

10. Miscellaneous provisions

If any of the provisions of these ToU is declared null, unenforceable or unlawful by a competent court, the other provisions will remain in force, provided that the general balance of the ToU is not substantially affected.

The fact that one of the Parties does not, at a given moment, invoke a breach by the other Party of any of its obligations shall not be interpreted as a waiver of the obligation in question nor of the possibility of invoking it subsequently.

11. Applicable law and competent jurisdiction

These ToU are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute relating to the formation, validity, interpretation, performance or termination of these ToU, the Parties will endeavour to find an amicable solution. Failing an amicable agreement within a reasonable time, the dispute will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent French courts, including in the event of multiple defendants or third-party proceedings.

12. Entire agreement

These ToU, the Legal Notice, the Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the Cookie Policy and the specific terms applicable to certain paid services or offers constitute the entire agreement between Show me the REX and the User concerning the use of the Site and the Services.
